Still waiting.

Well, my interviews with the higher ups in IT went pretty good. I have filled out my paperwork, so now all there is to do is wait. I hate waiting, but sometimes you don't have a choice. I just uploaded a bunch of pictures to my picasa website, more reunion pictures. I just found that I didn't have them uploaded. It is from 2004. Well I have to go do some running around. Yesterday was payday, so today I am off of work, and my wife is going to run me ragged... But that is usual for the day after payday. BTW, today is Sweetest day, so give your special someone a big kiss.

Actually I don't really care too much for sweetest day, since it is a made up holiday. I think Hallmark needed another day to sell cards. But it is another day to celebrate being married. I enjoy spending time with my wife, so I guess I will go with the fake holiday...

Bad news, good news 10-4-07

Well, I will start off with the bad news. I was told about a month ago that Goodyear was sending our jobs overseas. This is supposed to happen around January. I think that the idea is bad, but I do think that it was nice of Goodyear to give us some advanced warning. So I posted for a job at Goodyear(I am currently just a contractor). I just heard back from the department lead, and they picked me from all of their applications. Now all I have to do is make it through a second round of interviews, and I should have the job. Now I have to play the waiting game. The people that I have to interview with are higher ups in the IT group, and they have pretty busy schedules. I am happy about it. I have been trying to get hired in directly to Goodyear for several years. But it just goes to show you, or at least me, that God is able to provide, but it is usually on His time table.

 

Anyhow, I was just writing this to update my Blog and see how well the mail to blog feature works.
